If you know me, you know I’ve always loved to dance and I love movies about dancing.The hero(eine) of these films must always embody fearlessness to thrive and Strickly Ballroom is a wonderful study of how fear can hamper a life and how overcoming your fear to live your life’s dreams can create a life full of vibrancy! This movie is endearing. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but delivers high entertainment, laughs and a passion for living your talent full out–Fearlessly! Here’s the first 10 minutes, the balance is available via Youtube. Or do yourself and your friends a good turn and rent it for a Movie Night. It’s rated PG and I’d take that ‘PG’ seriously. It’s not a movie you’d pop in and watch with the children without having viewed it yourself first. It’s not a kids movie.
